290 Slide Sports Bar opened in Sept 2023, but we just noticed this today, so we slammed on the brakes stopped in for lunch. There are plans to add a sign up front so people know they are open for lunch. It was not very busy on our trip. We we arrived, we were told to grab whatever seats we wanted (high and lowtop options). Our server (also the bartender) was friendly and offered some suggestions upon request. The angus burger was the choice for me. Cooked to perfection. It was delicious. Served on a quality roll. Fries were at an added cost (typical for many places now), but tasty too. The chicken cutlets looked great as well. Pricing was on the mid to high side for a lunch, but the quality was well above average, which for many may justify the modest premium. The location was clean and sports themed. Certainly a location worth checking out. We left with our bellies full and satisfied!

The food was excellent. We had the stuffed Hungarian peppers which were cheesey with an excellent marinara sauceand the fish fry was crispy and ???? with homemade sides!the cannolis were the perefect treat to end the night. The servers were friendly and very attentive.

What a great local bar in Tonawanda. Fun atmosphere to watch a Bills game (as we did) or just for some drinks and food. Iris was a fantastic server and couldn’t ask for someone better. French Onion Soup is surprisingly great and the Wings are top notch.
