My go-to spot for Zabiah halal meat. They consistently offer high-quality, fresh meat, including goat, lamb, beef, and chicken.
Goat meat is expensive compared to other halal meat stores. It’s my stupidity that I didn’t ask the price of goat shoulder before cutting it into pieces. I assumed the regular price as other places have. That’s my mistake. There is no price tag so please be aware of that final bill can give a shock after buying everything. I’m giving extra star for good job on cutting the meat only. Originally the store name was Faisal market. Not sure why they change that name to 786 Market. I have asked if it’s under new ownership. But the person at register said nothing has been changed except the name. Anyway apart from the high price, the store floor was dirty and water everywhere coming from meat handling area. I see high risk of contamination.
Meat is good and they have decent variety of spices and other desi stuff. The new kid at the counter is super nice but one of the staff member is quite rude, some times he deals at the meat area.
Meat is expensive. Mixed goat has many bones and less meat. Prices are costly for groceries too. Very less vegetables. Don't understand why 4.3 rating for this shop.
Honestly they are one of the worst place to buy goat meat in these days. They used to be one of the best and now they turned out to be typical southeast asian greed fellas. If you want to buy leg only they leave a huge bone with it and folded in a way with the leg so customer wouldn't notice it. Once they weigh it, the extra bone will add to the weight and they go and cut/chop it out and customer wouldn't aware of it. Very snealy way ot cheating customers. Also, nowadays they leave bunch of fat with the leg and and it will add to the total weight then they remove the fat off. Very conniving way making business. I was very upset as well as my 7-8 friends notticed these and we no longer go there. My Recommedation is Herat market not bad at all
