Got the brisket and ribs. This place is top notch. I try BBQ all over the place here in FL and it is very difficult to find actual brisket. The ribs were also excellent, tender but not totally fall off the bone. Everything was just excellent. The fries were super hot and well seasoned. This place is in top 1% of BBQ joints I have been to in Florida.

1/17/24 Goods and bads. Waitstaff Crystal could use some training. Asked for to go box which she never brought so I had to ask a different server. She did not not check on us until we were nearly done eating and she got a bad attitude when I kindly asked if I could go to the counter with her while she ran my credit card (obviously she has never had her CC compromised). She seemed to take it personally and even made an extra unnecessary comment after running my card. Ordered the New Papa's special which was plenty for the two of us. Meat had good flavor. Brisket was slightly dry but brisket is a challenge to perfect. Please don't get angry at establishments that run out of food as they are trying to balance how much to cook so they don't have to throw food out (which drives cost up) or serve it the next day. Maybe consider going closer to opening to ensure everything is available. We went in about an hour before closing and they were out of their Moinks but that's our fault for going close to closing time. We felt the potato salad and green beans could have had more flavor, kind of blah. The corn casserole was great. Baked beans and collard greens were soso, again flavor. Baked beans are always better when meat (pulled pork or brisket) is added to the beans and I can only hope they make this change. Food temps were good, ice tea good, felt the price was good for the amount of food. We will return at some point and hope Crystal is not our server.

Small place, but that usually helps to keep the food good without issues of losing customer service. The food was good. Ordered pulled chicken sandwich with a small Caeser salad and Mac salad. Also a pulled pork sandwich with fries and regular salad. And sliders with broccoli rice casserole. The meat had some fat in it to give it that extra flavor. Lots of flavor. Tastes very good.

First the food; I ordered a Rib and Brisket platter. The ribs were excellent and I ate them first as they were on top of the brisket. The brisket was one big slab. The top part was cut with the grain and was tough, so I flipped it over and it was gristle. Apparently they had not separated the point cut from the flat cut, and I got the inbetween. I had already filled up on sides (which were OK, a little overcooked. and the collard greens had no real flavor). My brother and his GF asked how the liver was and the waitress said she never ate it but had been told by patrons it was the best ever. Well, theirs was overcooked and like shoe leather. She came over to ask how things were (I hadn't gotten to the brisket yet). They were honest, she was very sorry and bought her a half chicken in replacement (She said it was dry and overcooked). My brother soldiered on and finished his sides. We didn't see her again until we got the check. She asked if I wanted a box and I showed her the inedible "brisket". She seemed puzzled when I explained and said that's how brisket is. Since we were done and leaving I didn't ask for any adjustment to the bill and she didn't offer. My friend Ted got a slider platter with pulled pork, brisket and pulled chicken sliders and was very happy. The place has little atmosphere and is incredibly noisy; they were very busy so we saw our waitress very little. The food takes a long time to come out but they do advise on that as it's all made to order. If you do go have the ribs and/or sliders. None of the sides were noteworthy.

Artman Country Smokehouse did my daughter’s wedding in June 2020. It is the best BBQ around this area. I could not have been more pleased with them. They truly were a full service caterer and it was awesome food with Awesome service. I am getting some Brisket today.. So Excited. I highly encourage them for wedding Food services. They made everything look and taste truly amazing.
