I recently had a little emergency when a part of my car's suspension broke. I contacted a friend who recommended Mark Depass, the owner/mechanic of Auto Fix Centre in Pickering, very close to where I was stranded, thank goodness. I called and they were able to fit me in, despite being busy and short-handed for the day. It took a little while because the car had to be towed but they still managed to fit me in. They were obviously busy when I arrived, with cars on every hoist, but they got me in after a short wait and diagnosed the problem - a broken suspension spring. Ughhh! The parts were ordered and it was just a matter of time now. Might as well check the brakes while the car was on the hoist. Darn, I needed brakes (pads and rotors)! I knew that but have been ignoring the screeching for a couple weeks. Ooops! Thankfully, with my sincere gratitude, all the work was completed, albeit after their regular closing time. They got it all done! Thank you for the awesome service, Mark! I will definitely be back! Thanks also to CAA for responding quickly with a tow truck!

I can't express how grateful I am to have been introduced to Mark (the owner) and his auto shop. My professor's been going there for 15+ years and I can see why. Not only is he honest, he is also very knowledgeable. He will ONLY recommend repairs if it is ABSOLUTELY necessary. I've been driving for 7 years and had 4 cars. Every mechanic I've been to will never measure up to Mark and his candor. Thank you Mark for everything that you do for your customers and the community.

The Mechanics at Auto Fix are incredibly gifted at what they do. They are competent, knowledgeable and friendly. Best of all, they are incredibly trustworthy. Every bit of work that needed to be done was done in a timely manner and fairly priced (in comparison to previous mechanics that I have gone to). Also, Mark (who is the owner of Auto Fix) always does only that which is necessary to be done while pointing out future needs that might arise. I really appreciate that! I have and will continue coming here for all my car needs. Keep up the great work!

*Update* Please note that one thing is the standard procedure and another thing is to go above and beyond. If my car had an engine light on and it wouldn't pass the emission test for that very reason you should have been upfront about that instead of conducting the test knowing it would fail. *This my friend is a lack of interest in looking out for me as a customer. You have zero interest in me and only interested in serving your business procedures.** As a customer I'm upset that they don't take recommendations on how to improve their service. Took my vehicle for emissions with an engine light, but instead of watching out for me as a customer they perform the emission test anyways and sure enough it failed due to an engine light on the dash something they could have told me before the testing was done. So when I came back when my engine light was off and it passed I had to pay an unnecessary $20 for the re-test when it could have been avoided had they had my best interest in mind. After pointing this out to Mark instead of accepting my feedback he just point blank told me "if you don't like it here go somewhere else but don't tell us how to do our job.". As far as pricing goes, I would say they are higher than average. That said they appear to have good experience and I would trust them to do a thorough job and charge you accordingly. As far as safety inspection goes they are strict with their inspections and will charge you when they fail offering a full report with what's wrong with the vehicle. This is a double edge and can work to your benefit or against you. Mark's establishment is stricter than most safety inspection agencies so use that to your advantage and get inspections done before you purchase the vehicle. If you already bought a vehicle as is, you may want something that is more lenient offering you a pass despite the possible implications that can carry. Personally I will avoid going to this place in the future, that said Mark establishment is better than others but I'm sure there are better places out there.
