A taste of Japanese cake that I had forgotten!?The texture of the sponge, the delicious cream and the exquisite taste of the red bean paste. It's a bit far, but I'd definitely stop by!

This place has been around for as long as J-Town’s been around (that I can remember at least) and they have the best tofu cheesecakes around. Their mousse cakes are wonderful too. Basically if you like cakes, this is the place to be.

I love the selection of savory buns that this place has to offer! Some of my favorites are the following but only one is pictured below: -beef curry donut (filled with Japanese beef curry - deepfried to perfrction! heats up well in the toaster oven. Tastes even better if you pair it with a slice of cheese) -mashed potato bun (bun filled with mashed potatoes with a slight kick - their mashed potatoes have a bit of horseradish in them which I loveeee) -yakisoba bun (this is definitely on the expensive side but damn, it is tasty as heck haha) -chicken katsu sandwich (two halves of a chicken katsu sandwich - served with mayo, pickles, and lettuce) -cheese danish (this is SO good! never would have thought it but I highly recommend it) They also seem to have released a lot of new buns that I'll have to make a trip back to try!

I've been to J-Town so many times over the last decade, and I finally bought something from their bakery. If you buy six buns, there's no tax. Also, it's 5¢ for a bag, so remember to bring a reusable bag. There is a good amount of selection, so come early for the good ones. Aside from buns, there are also hot sandwiches and cakes.
