Barbara Ann's Southern Fried Chicken

When you grew up in the south, you know nobody can beat anybody's Grandmother's cooking but Barbara Ann's Southern Fried Chicken gives you that classic home cooking that doesn't disappoint. We had the chicken wings and waffle plate, the chicken gizzard plate with 2 sides macaroni and cheese and collard greens and extra side of baked beans and for desert we had their banana pudding and sweet potatoes pound cake. It was by far the best country cooking I've had at any restaurant in the Fayetteville, Hopemills and surrounding area. Perfectly seasoned, everything tasted fresh and delicious. Well packaged and nice size portions , reasonably priced. Note when ordering waffle they only have red velvet waffle. Location has parking in rear and offers take out and catering service , not a dine in facility. I would definitely recommend them to friends and family and eat there again. My food was fresh and HOT! My fried chicken was crispy, Mac n cheese was delicious, and my red velvet waffle was perfect. My husband had the turkey bbq plate and ate everything. He’s picky about his Mac n cheese but said it was amazing!

This past week was our first time trying Barbara Ann's and we were floored! I personally had a gizzards plate as shown in my photo. Not pictured was fried chicken, baked beans, mac and cheese, green beans, and potato salad. Every bite was seasoned to perfection, cooked just right, fresh, and absolutely delicious! The only thing I wasn't too big on was the fact you have to place your order in person if you are paying cash, but can place your order over the phone and pay in advance if you are paying with card. Wasn't ideal for us being we were paying with cash, however the food made up for it!!
