The first thing we spotted was a sign at the end of the dock that said, “It’s worth the walk!” We couldn’t agree more. The best stocked and most charming gift shop in Westport also features the friendliest workers! We found some great deals on sweatshirts and other knickknacks. The selection is wide ranging, and very family friendly. Be aware that it is on the end of a functional shipping dock, so you do need to pay attention to forklifts that might be zipping around. The workers are very aware of the foot traffic, so we never felt the slightest bit unsafe. Honestly, it just adds to the charm. It is absolutely worth the walk!

What a treasure chest of goodies at the end of the dock! The Basket House offers a very nice selection of apparel, shells, and gifts, and the prices are very reasonable. The folks there are super friendly and helpful. Don't miss this great shopping spot when you come to Westport!

This was a great gift shop. I was surprised! They had a wide variety of stuff and not as cheesy as lots of gift shops for tourists they had nice items as well! I bought a silver charm for my charm bracelet, and I love it!

its a little cute gift shop that has lots of westport name on it. lots of kids toys, clothes, books. love the location n workers r friendly. its marinas area so the air is cooler. u can get a long sleeves here.

What a cool little store at the end of the dock! Karen was so friendly and the shop is really packed full of fun and interesting things. We picked up a unique wind chime and some funny T-shirts for some friends out of state. Will be back.
