A brilliant stop on my hike through this part of the Cotswolds on a sunny day. The landlord shared that he'll shortly retire and transfer the running of the pub to the residents of this lovely village. I particularly liked the cosiness baked-in to this memorable pub, along with the warm decor and the hint of smokiness near the open fireplace.

A lovely little village pub. Food was absolutely fantastic. Best to phone and check they are serving food and book your table as it is a small pub. Friendly service and if I ever go back to the cotswolds I will be going back to this place.

Been back twice in the last weeks, my friends and I love the food,( which is really plentiful! ) also the snug feeling of a true country pub with a log fire....dogs are welcome, and the walks are so close to the pub. Dave the landlord and his staff are friendly and welcoming, excellent little retreat...

Working nearby for the day, I had heard of this place, and so pottered along the lovely lanes about 7pm enjoying the drive. Arriving to find several locals sitting outside and laughter seemed to set a great atmosphere. The pop was really good, and unusually for me I chose to eat a burger and chips. I guess it was the way it was described. Well, no disappointment, it really was excellent! I did pinch a little scampi from nearby, and that was really good too. Thanks for keeping a great pub, and clearly a lovely evening was had by all who were there that night. Perfect. Cheers!
