Came here on a whim a few years back bought a hand made pilón a big one and a few other items decided to order some food and was like what the ¥¥£€):$ ! The food is actually quite good. It’s a little more these days with inflation buts that’s ok everything is a little more these days. You get what you pay for and in this case it’s the yellow rice the beans the fried bananas the stewed meats of the day the flank steak they have a really nice baked chicken the fried pork chops are really tasty. The stew could use a little less vinegar but over all I kind of like this place a bodega that cranks out delicious plates! If you go anywhere else you’ll pay double so remember they are a good food market which just happens to have a kitchen as well so take full advantage of this if you’re nearby. Stop in a grab a plate to go you won’t be dissatisfied!!!

Family operated and for the most part friendly and helpful. Well stocked and clean. Prices are high and fluctuate. Some cashier's will charge you whatever they feel like so you have to be alert.

Prices change daily, no warning of it . They always have a attitude and if you don’t speak Spanish they act differently. They are very rude & charge for EVERYTHING little or small. I choose to go to store up 2 blocks up now. Way nicer and prices way better. They aren’t worth going too anymore … your better off up the block.

Unless you can speak Spanish do not go here! EVERY SINGLE ORDER is not right! Then they charge different prices. One day a platter is $6 the next day it's $7 and they're giving light platters now. It used to be good food and a good serving of food. Now platters have small amounts of rice and meat rice is wet and slimey and they never give you what you want. You would think there would be at least one person in the store capable of speaking and comprehending English.. Nope the majority of this neighborhood speaks English. You have to take whatever they want to give you because they don't understand what you want. Hard pass I'll never go back again.
