I was super excited to try this place but was let down. I didn’t mind the 20% service charge at all because let’s face it not many tip and if they do they don’t meet the mark but I will say that service was awful. So if you’re getting 20% automatically then I would except at least decent service and no it was not busy. I also asked for a receipt to make sure I was charged properly and they just gave me one with the total ???????? They are a bit overpriced for the dishes so keep that in mind. They were out of ingredients for my drink so I passed on that . Another thing they give you two menus and one is for specials but the prices are the same if not more . So be aware of that. They also include starters on both menus and don’t tell you that they don’t serve them on the week days! How about a separate menu for the weekends to not confuse customers and keep it simple. My pancakes were meh and I got the Strawberry Ones 6/10 didn’t finish Fried green tomatoes tasty but breading falls off and they were super thick 7/10 My friend ordered the chicken wings and waffles and was 7/10 as well. So would I come back probably not. The environment is cool and music is nice.

This is my first time here at Brunch House. I had seen all the advertising on social media I was a little skeptical about going because I had read the reviews and on a lot of them they complained about the same thing that they were waiting for about an hour to get their food and when they received their food it was cold then there was complaints about the prices. The pictures of the food people were posting that look good so I had to see for myself. I need up going during the week day so that way there wasn't much people there and I must say I was impressed with the food. We ended up ordering French toast with the berries and then the red velvet pancakes and then another order of like eggs and potatoes. The food was full of flavor I think that was probably some of the French toast I have had. It was like a perfect mixture of everything it was delicious and I would definitely go back for more. The red velvet pancakes the red velvet pancakes were just as delicious. The service is great I have no complaints. As far as the price I didn't really pay attention I decided what I wanted and pay the bill when it came as far as I'm concerned if you want good food great service or maybe it's the atmosphere are you looking for which this place they have that upbeat kind of Vibe don't complain about the prices because all of it cost money and if you just want food and a nice quiet place and probably will be cheaper so just remember you are paying for what you are getting. As for myself my friends that were with me we were all completely satisfied I won't go back to try out some other foods so yeah I recommend this place.

Upon arrival my party of 3 was told it would a 20-30 minute wait. We ended up waiting an hour. Then waited 15 minutes for the waitress to even come over and bring waters. The food took 40 minutes a physical fight broke out in the mean time between a waitress and a guest. 20% gratuity was automatically added to every table. Waited 10 minutes for utensils once the food arrived so my waffles became cold. We had to flag the waitress down for refills but she never came back with them so we had to ask again 15 minutes later. Food was awful and cold. The lemonade was “fresh” and $5.25. And this is “smothered pork chops”

I have not written a review before but felt like I had to because of our disappointment. We went on Wednesday for brunch & there was not wait as there was not really anyone in the restaurant. We first noticed the music was too loud & for some reason they had a true crimes show playing on one of the TV’s that was right in front of our seating area which we didn’t enjoy looking at while we ate. The decor was cute & the restaurant was clean. Our server was sweet & the staff in general was attentive. We ordered the Mimosa flight for $25 & the mimosas were way too sweet. Whatever type of syrup they put in the mimosas was too thick & sweet & we only enjoyed about 2 out of 4 mimosas which was the blackberry & peach. We ordered the Seafood Lover w/ grits instead of potatoes which was $35.99. This meal was not worth almost $40. The grits tasted like they were not cooked through & came out of the pack & were too savory/citrusy for our taste. The eggs were nice & fluffy. The French toast had a good taste but was kind of dry. The only thing worth it to eat was the catfish which the hot sauce made better & we only got 1 piece of that. What really decreased the customer service for me was that our server didn’t inform us of the 20% service tax added to our check although we were only a party of 2. We only learned this as we paid off the portable machine (which we tipped her on as well) & I noticed on my printed receipt that they added a 20% service charge to our checks. This put the nail in the coffin for us & I am disappointed at the food & honesty of this establishment. Would not recommend & we will not be coming back.
