Having lived in the area for a majority of my life, this bakery has been a go-to spot for bread for my family and I. I remember my dad coming home early Satuday mornings with fresh bread, deli meats and yummy pastries for breakfast when I was a kid. It's still a pretty great place to go for bread and deli items, however today was my last time buying any pastries from here. As sad as it is to say, their standards for freshness have greatly deteriorated and all of my family's pastries were stale and hard. My daughter was disappointed. They tasted like they were a week old. The service was also lacking today, with the lady disappearing from the front area to go and speak to the baker in the back for about 5 minutes after helping the gentleman in front of us, knowing that there were a few other customers inside, and having not greeted anyone. Not happy at all with my experience today.
