I tried to get a coffee at Shoreham airport this morning while out walking with my daughters twins. They love watching the aircraft so l throught I would visit the Hummingbird restaurant. Unfortunately the staff in restaurant in the terminal where really unfriendly, and didn't like the fact that l was on my own, and had a buggy which they obviously thought was an obstruction. Cafe No8 on the other hand was totally different, the lady there was just so friendly, she bought out some toys for the twins to play with, and bought my food over to me. You get a better view of the airport, and aircraft moving around, and the seating is much better than the Hummingbird too. The food was piping hot, and delicious, I would highly recommended this cafe, and will definitely be going back again.
Such a little gem tucked away at Brighton City Airport overlooking the airfield and the picturesque South Downs. Delicious hot food and sandwiches, scrummy cakes, tasty coffees, friendly, helpful staff, and a lovely relaxing atmosphere. Really recommend it. Open 7 days a week. Parking available, or perfect for a pit stop on your walk or bike ride.
Had the most delicious tomato & lentil homemade soup with a cheese toasty. Beautifully presented & served with a smile & a chat by Maddie who is a gorgeous ray of sunshine! And Saffy got her biscuit too so everyone was happy!!!
