I stopped by this cute coffee place. It was Sunday afternoon, however, quite packed. Everybody was chilling there. I came to meet a friend over coffee. I got myself an affogato and it was pretty decent. They have various coffee option and a lot of desserts and other stuff too. The ambiance is very cool and ideal for chilling or working.
I’ve got to give credit where it’s due, this place has incredible dessert options. A little pricey in my opinion (depending on what you get). I’ve been here about 3 times, and this time around I got the Strawberry Ice Parfait- really it’s bingsu. It had shaved ice, fresh strawberries, red beans, strawberry ice cream & a strawberry jam blend. I initially thought it was kind of overpriced, but the portion size is quite large- even take out. This location does have a service fee of 5% but I’m unsure if that’s across all orders or just take out. The place was very clean and quiet! A perfect nook to study or work.
Staff here is always nice and there’s never any issues with my order. I recommend the hot chai latte with the chocolate croissant, so good, best combo! What’s nice is that the bigger tables have plug ins in the tables and the high tops along the windows also have plug ins. It can get busy sometimes so if you want to snag a table with a plug in, be sure to get there at a good time!
Awesome little cafe. I had the mango mojito (non alcoholic) and it was really good till the end of the drink. Maybe that’s because all the sugar or syrup was stuck there and it was just too sweet for me but besides that it was a really good drink. Other drink was my mom’s green tea latte frappe and I think she liked it.
I have been to many smoothies and boba tea shops and have never been to a shop that is so disorganized like this place. There is no tag on the drinks, so if you ordered similar drinks, good luck figuring out. The employee couldn't tell which is which once they are made. The quality of the smoothies and boba teas, I guess it is good enough for university campuses outside of big cities like Chicago.
