The owner has, so far, forgiven me for aspiring to an electric vehicle with fewer moving parts (and fewer things to go wrong).

We bought a 1997 Cadillac last summer. I knew it was going to need work. After sitting for the past 7 months the battery was completely dead. So I had to get the vehicle towed to Car ER. I chose Car ER because people on the New Haven sub-Reddit mentioned how honest and fair they were. They couldn’t have been more right. I spoke with the owner Joe on the phone and explained to him that I wanted the car completely looked over and if it would be worth it to get it road ready. Joe called me the next day and gave me some numbers and explained what would need to be done just simply wasn’t worth it. He was completely honest and accommodating. He offered to give me a couple days to get the car towed to it’s final destination free of charge. He also refused to charge me for the evaluation, and just asked that I bring future business his way in exchange for the free diagnostic. This is an honest family run business. The kind of shop you would hope to find. I highly recommended the guys over at Car ER.
