Sundays are when the fresh tamales show up… often sold out by midday. We’ve tried multiple types, love the chicken (red or green), both spicy and my whole family acts like uncontrollable sharks ???? when they smell the tamales come in the door, they rip it open and dive in! I love getting cheeses (Oaxaca is my fave) and meats from the deli counter. (Everything we’ve gotten has been delicious) Fresh produce section is small but what they have is always in great shape. Both flour and corn tortillas are certainly the best I can find around Greensboro. The lunch counter in the back is fantastic! The pastries and breads are good… all the employees are friendly ?? love this place!!
I put Mexican bakery into my Google search and this place came up. I was not expecting it to be so many choices when I walked in. I wish i would've gotten a picture of it. I tired a coconut donut, chocolate ice donut, tres leches cake, and choclate chip cookie. It was too many options for me to decide. On the other side of the store, it's kinda like a convenient store. In the back there is a resturant and meat market. Outside there is a food truck. If I wasn't in a time crunch, I would definitely have explored more.
Very nice and clean store they have a restaurant in there everything we got was good The store part of it seems a little high but they were really busy
I always find the hard to find Mexican stuff. They have very yummy food. The people in the butcher shop are really nice.
One of Greensboro's best places to eat! The taquitos are incredible, and the tortas are huge! We go here on Sundays to buy fresh and hot tamales out of the cooler, and freshly made par-cooked tortillas to finish on the stove at home before serving with meals through the week. They have a great bodega for specific foods items, herbs, veggies, beers, sodas from Central and South America, and they also have a butcher shop and bakery for fresh breads, pastries, and cuts of beef and pork. Highly recommended! 5/5
