Favourite place for hot dogs and delicious poutine whenever we're in Laval. Bright & spacious, it's a great place for a quick meal. We usually reward ourselves here after washing our car at the 24-hour self car wash across the street.

Tried this Chez Girard for the first time and really was not impressed with the food. We had a Hamburger and two Steamed hot dogs and a fries. I am pretty sure the hamburger was previously frozen, and that's why only a two star for the food, the burger's texture was strange. The bun totally flattened out when held. The hot dogs were ok but other spots are much better. Small portion of fries which were so so. The service was fast but not pleasant. The gentleman behind the counter was very unfriendly, that's why only 2 stars for service. The restaurant is very clean and bright, with a 60's vibe. Very comfortable. Hot Dogs-7/10 Hamburger 2/10 French Fries 5/10

One of my favorite spot for a burger in laval, service is a bit rough and moody at times, but once you get used to it, once you understand and it's almost cute... Fries are very good too... ( in my top 20 and I would not describe them as saggy as mentioned here before) The place look stucked in time and has its charm too. It is worth the detour if you are in laval

My only complaint with the smoked meat poutine is that I wish there were more fries for the gigantic amount of toppings loaded atop.

A family-owned business with friendly and warm staff. Quick service and fantastic food. Definitely try the Gyros Pita !!
