Wow I was surprised at this place. Didn’t even know this restaurant was there. Found gmart by accident, then this restaurant by accident. They have traditional Korean dishes. No fusion here. Doesn’t matter, the got those traditional dishes down. Great flavors. Hearty portions. Have been here a half dozen times over the past couple of years. You don’t come here for the atmosphere, you come for the food. Highly recommend. Update Hadn’t been back in a while, glad I did. Still great food, reasonably priced, fast and friendly service.

Solid meal hidden inside the grocery store Everything is cooked fresh and tasty. We always get multiple orders of kalbi. The pancake is yummy with the sauce Love the banchan that comes with it: kimchi, cucumber, radish, potato, bean sprouts. quite the spread! Been here every time we visit Seattle. Good food with good pricing ????

A nice Korean tofu soup restaurant located inside of the G-Mart mall. If I had to choose between the tofu soup restaurant in G-Mart or H-Mart, I would choose the one here in G-Mart because the stone rice bowl is something that most Korean restaurants just don't do! It's experience you just can't find anywhere else really. You have to come here before 7:30pm or else they stop doing the stone rice bowl though. Food The tofu soup here is pretty good! Can't go wrong with beef or dumpling if you aren't sure what to get. I like seeing that it comes out bubbling cause I know it'll warm me up on a cold winter day. The soup is not super salty either. I love this place for tofu soup because it's one of the few places that I've seen in the Seattle area that do the stone rice bowl. Atmosphere Very casual and a spot that I would just come to quickly eat or get take out. Not the fanciest spot since it’s in a grocery store. Tables are shared with the other restaurants in the grocery store. Pricing The prices for the tofu soup are average compared to other tofu soups prices. If anything, this place has more value because of the stone rice bowl. Service Service was okay. They brought the food out to the table we were sitting at. They also clear the tables for you. Other Plenty of parking in front of the grocery store. The restaurants are on the side of the grocery store.

Friend brought us here and five stars for service & food! This eatery is tucked in a grocery store. The lady who ushered, took our order and served us was pleasant and gracious! The beef short rib and tofu soup are divine!

I really want to give Cho Dang a 5 stars but I have to reserve that rating truly extraordinary restaurants. However, Cho Dang is amazing!! I had the soup while my friend had the bi bim bop. The soup is so tasty! If it isn't so far away from me, I would have it once a week! The beef ribs were tender and full of flavors. Go there! You won't regret it!
