I’ve passed here a hundred times and finally stopped to try Chris’s food. We had hotdogs, hamburgers and French fries. Everything was really good and our waitress was nice.

Cozy old fashioned burger joint. Old album covers on the walls, friendly staff, and a fine burger. Styrofoam cups, cash only, definitely not a cloth napkin place, but a great place for a good meal.

Service was poor. Wait staff made me feel a little rushed and after I gave my order she went to sit with friends of hers and was very loud in their conversation.

Disclaimer: this will be one of my most boring reviews. That’s because outside of a decent lunch, Chris’s is pretty boring. The bright cheerfulness of the server was not enough to offset the depressing dimness inside Chris’s. They have album covers from the 50’s, 60’s, and 70’s adorning the walls, but they, too, fall short of brightening the ambiance. It is clean and tidy, just poorly lit. I ordered the Rollie burger, a hot dog all the way, fries, and a sweet tea. Rollie Burger: Good flavor with two smallish patties and fresh toppings. Competent. Hot dog: Pink wiener was surprisingly flavorful. The slaw had a good taste, but was too wet, causing a somewhat soggy bun by the end. The chili was completely tasteless—among the most bland I’ve ever encountered in my whole life. Crinkle fries: hot, fresh, and very good. Sweet tea was well above average. Overall, Chris’s has a friendly staff who prepares and serves a good lunch...in a dim and boring place. I will make this ever-so-slightly more amusing by adding a photo of the menu, including the add from “Tasty Bakery”, which has a severe grammatical error.

Love dropping in when in the area and I am never disappointed with food, service or pricing. I love my hotdogs and Chris's love making them. Dog's come in many ways but all the way is still my favorite. Best all around chili for me. Not greasy and bun soggy just perfect. Add this place to your favorites with no regrets.
