The best place to stop and get my morning cupa. I try and bring my own cup because I appreciate their discount/acknowledgment of how much single use waste in Placer County impacts the future sustainable development. They offer better pricing and roast in a state park a mile down the road so that’s cool. A small locally owned and operated cafe that is really comfy.
I still have the taste of burnt dark roast coffee in my mouth. We got the cold brew and cappuccino- both which were the same coffee but different temperature and in different cups. The cappuccino consisted of 80% whipped foam poured on top. The avocado toast was the cheap guacamole from Safeway on a burnt piece of bread. Go to Fullers or Safeway next door and get coffee from the fridge.
Normally this place is good but I got a terrible latte today. I disnt taste it until I was driving away otherwise I would have asked for a new one. It tasted like that last burnt cup of gritty coffee from a percolator that had been plugged in all day.
I would have given zero stars. The coffee was burnt ( my whole purpose of going). Over heard a rude comment pertaining to mixed children as I took my first sip of the burnt coffee. Rather than ask for another cup I just left before I got anymore upset being that I’m mixed. Will never get a dime of my money.
Bad experience, and we are not even picky. The girl working there seemed to not care at all about serving people. Coffee pots were empty, wraps were made without gloves (yuck), $12 BLT wrap was almost all lettuce and a slice of cheap bacon and nothing else in it. Do not waste your money there.
