A couple of weeks ago, my partner had an issue with a damaged tyre. We chose this garage to help us as it was local at the time and because we'd heard good things about them. On the surface, they were very polite, helpful and timely. However, the deeper this process went, the worse it became. When we were given the option of buying a new tyre, we opted for the spare tyre to be used instead. The person I spoke to checked the tyre and was happy to do this. Unfortunately, they did not see that the spare tyre was already damaged in multiple places by the previous owner (confirmed by AA at a later time). I am absolutely not a car expert and trusted their judgement. So, as you can imagine, immediately the tyre began to deflate, to the point where it became impossible to re-inflate. We lost control of the steering and were forced to stop on the side of the road before we crashed. AA was extremely helpful and helped us back to the garage late at night. The next day, I spoke to the garage and they agreed to buy two new tyres which were fitted the following day. It appears that buying a tyre is a good enough reason for them to dispose of the damaged tyre as they left that with us the first time. So, finally we have good tyres and we're ready to drive home. However, on the invoice and also on the dashboard, there is a warning about the engine. This is the first time this has appeared and we can be pretty sure of this as my partner was the person who parked the vehicle at the garage. No surprises, the garage denied responsibility, claiming it was already there and also didn't think to tell us about this during any part of the process (because helping customers to not destroy their car is not a part of their values it seems). Overall, we make mistakes and lessons must be learned but the customer care here leaves a lot to be desired. Especially when we contacted our local dealership who helped, gave the perfect advice over the phone and suddenly an inexperienced car owner has a fully functional vehicle again.

This company NEVER ceases to amaze me, they do what it says on the tin, as they say, they NEVER rip you off. Me and the wife have always used them and we are so glad we have found them. Times are hard, but they remain honest and NEVER rip you off and do a sterling job. Thankyou all
