The food wasn't bad, but I felt that the broken rice was a little bit drier than usual. The meat was well-seasoned and tasted good with the rice. However, the fish sauce was a bit too salty for my liking. Overall, it's a decent broken rice restaurant.
Omg they have the best com tam ever tbh. This is our first time here and let's me tell you it was boom. The BBQ pork chop was so juicy, smoky and flavorful!! Egg cake and shredded pork skin were fine, nothing special. Broken rice was soft and well cooked. Each plate served with a soup. Everything was good except the restaurant kinda small and fishy smell...also little bit pricey for me
My mom loves com tam and after trying out so many places in OC, this is the place to go. They make mainly com tam and with an exception of pho and bun. We got #5 broken rice with shredded pork skin, egg cake, and bbq pork and added a fried egg. Their egg cake is fresh not dry. The bbq pork is so flavorful, tender and moist. Their shredded pork skin is not the best because it’s too much skin to meat ratio. Got #46 rice vermicelli with bbq pork and egg roll. How you judge this dish is by the meat and the bbq pork is super moist and flavorful. We’ve ordered here numerous times and their bbq pork does not disappoint. There’s every combo you can think of. There’s parking but it’s a bit sketchy with the homeless population becoming violent to each other so be careful!
Got #41 it was alright! $18.75 - My BF likes the fish sauce they serve, I think it’s too fishy strong to me. Probably more authentic! He got the noodle, pork egg roll salad dish. Both plates we got were light on meat but that’s inflation for you.
Yelp review is disappointing on this restaurant. Chicken noodle soup was very salty and high in msg. My wife cannot eat more than three spoon. Rice is ok, their fried ship cake look good, but way too salty. Over all food did not pass. Fail.
