For value, beats Swiss Chalet for Rotisserie Chicken! We visited for the first time and would return—the value is great and the food is good. Located inside a bus terminal, it’s strictly a take-out location for us. My chicken meal was well packed (binder twined shut!) for take-out. The poutine uses chicken gravy, which might be different than the classic gravy you’d be expecting. Perhaps not unexpected for its location, the restaurant is also full of items you’d expect in a convenience store: chips, pop, snacks.

Their poutine is amazing! Some of the best I've ever had. Generous portion (picture: regular size), fresh fries, ooey gooey cheese curds, and tasty gravy (not too salty and doesn't overpower the cheese).

Stopped there with my bus and we only had about 7 minutes there so i got something ready to eat. My dry, basic, turkey croissant was 9$. They know people don't have time so they overprice their ready to go food. Not worth it. If you get the actualy meals maybe, if you're in a rush don't bother...

The closest that you can get to authentic Quebec rotisserie style chicken in Kingston. Their chicken is real tasty and roasted for a couple of hours on a propane or natural gas roaster. The chicken is served on a half bun and their meal combos include gravy and coleslaw.i recommend that you upgrade your side of fries to a poutine. Once you will experience the tastes of a roasted chicken poutine... You will never go back. Also, I saw an empty box of Boivin Cheese, which is the best curd cheese from my native region of Saguenay in the province of Québec. Therefore, if you are a poutine connoisseur... You know what this means.

The poutine was a nice surprise (very good) because the restaurant is actually in a bus stop! (Meagbus). Highly recommended if you're hungry or/and craving some comfort food. Service was good and fast.
