Had a wonderful time camping here. Though it was full with many campers, we still found it to be quiet and relaxing. The beach area is really nice and the camp store had everything you could possibly need including really good ice-cream! The kids had fun fishing and I saw lots of kayaks being used as well. Shower house was nothing special but the water was warm and water pressure was good. There was also a down washing station at the shower house which was nice. I definitely recommend this place!

Really nice. We were there on a rainy October weekend but the kids still fished and rode bikes. It was well kept and facilities were clean and convenient. I can see how during summer It might get super busy.

Our first visit to Crooked Run Campground in Prince Gallitzin State Park- Sept 2023, Cherry Loop non-electric site 381. This is a huge campground! The beginning of the camping loops are more congested, RV and TT sites, then when you get to the Cherry loop you get more trees, and wooded-type areas which are great tent sites. 381 was a big, flat site with plenty of room for a big tent, hammocks and room around the fire pit. On the week nite it was very quiet, only the camp host and one other tenter on our half of the loop. About a 100 step walk on a path to the bath house which has very nice sinks, decent push button showers (long spray with each push), hot water, and nice dish washing sinks outside. There is a 2 mile trail around the whole campground which has 9 super easy geocaches to collect. There is a beach to swim in the lake, and we rented kayaks ($20/hr for singles). Overall we really enjoyed this campground and park, it was well worth the 3 1/2 hr drive and I expect we will return at some point.
