I love this Plaice (excuse the pun) great banter with the girls, always a good laugh, massive variety on the menu, great food, reasonably priced, i usually have the lunchtime fish and chips with the sweet curry sauce or the scampi and chips....Would recommend very highly, i enjoy lunch here at least once a week Gary

Excellent local gem! Best traditional fish and chips out of all the local ones and a lovely family run business. Always great potions and cooked fresh. Really good value especially with the rising costs of everything and such a wide menu! Shocked at some of the bad comments, it’s really good and we have never been disappointed. Remember it’s a fish and chip shop not a high end restaurant!

Good fish and chip shop. Excellent curry home made sauce. Staff are really friendly and actually gave us some free food as they were closing shortly after our visit.

Portion sizes are always on the good to too much size being one of 2 ctradutional Chip Shops in Chandlers Ford. Normally the food is cooked fresh but the fish is not always drained of oil. Would have scored a 4 if I had not heard " Dave, there's a customer moaning" when I came back with my pea fritter and fish. A poor way to deal with customer service. At least it got replaced but as you can see too much food left over.

Unfortunately ordered fish and chips.The fish was very greasy and the oil was dark brown, it stained the paper wrap.the chips were soggy and greasy.Couldn't eat it. Won't be buying from there again.
