Refused to service my tranamission which needed a neutral safty switch installed. Charged me for 4 shocks, only installed 2. (They took care of this after I mentioned it) Check engine light showed up after the visit, was told its "no big deal" A new EFE valve would of taken care of that. Friendly enough, nice waiting area but overall experience was sub par for a professional shop with professional prices. Wont be returning.
I was towed to Dayton Car Care from a well known car dealership in the area, when the dealership refused to make a warranty repair/diagnosis with me first paying a large sum. Barry at Dayton Car Care took my vehicle and preformed the required work to get the warranty company’s approval with out charging me a dime. When the work took well past the expected time frame due to back ordered parts The owner (Barry) made sure my car rental was up to date and he was giving me updates constantly. When other problems popped up he continued to work with me and made sure I was handled. In the end the repairs took almost 5 weeks. But I knew the crew at Dayton Car Care was doing everything possible to get me back in my van and back on the road. He went above and beyond the call of duty. It’s a pretty long haul to get from my house to Dayton Car Care, but Barry earned himself a customer for life. The drive is worth it when you find a man of integrity and compassion. I highly recommend him and his staff.
first time using this company, and they were awesome. super friendly while I sat and waited for my oil change, and very nice. they did more than an oil change for me at no extra charge and were incredibly kind and informative about what was going on with my car. the best experience I’ve ever had a car shop. Tim was the front desk guy and he was great to talk to & incredibly helpful, down to earth. would recommend to anyone I know :)
I brought my 2018 Kia Sorrento in to Dayton car care after another facility failed to address the issues with my brakes in December, I had just purchased my vehicle a month prior Barry’s team provided a very welcoming office experience, they listened to my concerns and they thoroughly inspected my vehicle before letting me drive off the lot. They ended up replacing both front calibers, brake pads and rotors and they also replaced my drivers side front wheel bearing I left feeling 100% more safe in my vehicle. I’d like to add that Barry made my issues a priority despite the busy work load they already have. They’re great, I’ll definitely use them moving forward!
My experience was fantastic! My alternator, starter, and battery needed to be replaced, and this shop was recommend by my warranty company. I called and was able to schedule an appointment for the next day. I got my car back within a week.
