Dean Park

I nice little neighborhood park with playground equipment for the young, a low hoop basketball court, a covered picnic area (though no tables), bathrooms, shade trees and big open spaces for soccer, football out kite flying. Tucked away in a quiet area of Charlotte.

Nice selection of play equipment including merry-go-rounds and swings. Not sure if they just haven't opened the park for the season yet or if lots of trash laying around is normal for this park. Didn't even see a waste receptacle so I could pick up the trash.

It's a very nice small park. It's never crowded, and as long as a train isn't going past, it's quite.
