Experience: Came in and was greeted/seated quickly! The staff were friendly and attentive! After being seated we ordered drinks and appetizers which were served promptly. We did wait 20+min for our food but the waitress came by and said “you’re food will be out soon, I apologize for the wait.” Which was very kind. The atmosphere was good! Clean, good lighting & good music. The tables are a little crammed. Food: The ceviche was very good! The salsa threw me off as it was very sweet, and the cheese dip was quite bland. Street corn was fairly bland, and the cactus also didn’t have much flavor. The quesabarrias were delicious though! Portion sizes were great! The kids grazing plate was comical as I thought it would come with cubed pineapple and tomato, but rather it was two slices each. The fajitas are good, a bit light on the seasoning and veggie to meat ratio was a little off. Overall great presentation of the food but nearly everything could’ve used more seasoning. Final decision of three stars is because they don’t have many hot sauce options or spicy options in general. They did have a tomatillo sauce but the flavor and heat could use some improvement. 2cokes 2waters Cheese dip???? Ceviche???????? Shrimp fajita + 2 sides?????? Quessabarria + 2 sides?????????? Kids quesadilla with fries???? Kids grazing table ???? Totaled at $74 but also had a $3 charge for using a card (which I believe to be silly if you’re using a Debit card but I didn’t argue) so totaled up to 77 and I left a 25% tip making this meal close to $100 dollars. ***Not really worth it compared to other Mexican restaurants in the area.

Best dining experience we’ve had in a long time! Great team that got us seated immediately and served very quickly. Very well priced and the food is authentic and tastes so good. Family friendly and a merry atmosphere. They brought out a complimentary sampler sauces and salsa plate. Also tried their cheesecake desert and strawberry sauce which was fantastic. Marcos is an amazing host and great guy who made our dinner personalized and delightful.

Fantastic Mexican joint in Fayetteville, WV. I ordered the quesabirria tacos. Three delicious tacos with some of the most flavorful birria meat I've ever had. Perfectly seasoned and cooked! And the street corn was simply a bowl of joy. You've got to give this place a try! I'll certainly be back!

Newish local restaurant in Fayetteville. Great food at decent prices. They are conveniently located off of US 19 near downtown Fayetteville. There used to be a different restaurant there, which is why I said they are new, but not brand new. If you’re in Fayetteville, you should give them a shot.

Favorite restaurant in Fayetteville. Service, food, and warm, friendly people who make you feel right at home. Food is fresh! Guac is made fresh when ordered. Simple syrups made in-house. Margaritas made with real fruit. In-house made cheesecake. EVERYTHING we ordered tasted fantastic: chips and salsa, guac, Quesabirria, street corn, cheesecake, and margaritas. After coming in twice in one day, we were told we were just like family! A must try if in Fayetteville. We will eat here everytime we are in town. Even owners of other local establishments eat at Don Rizo's! Enjoyed the conversation with others.
