My experience with the hygienist was very favorable. She was friendly but professional. The procedure was pretty painless. The staff was very friendly as well as professional. Unfortunately Dr Filipelli is no longer there. I haven’t met the new doctors yet. Hopefully next time.

Very thankful they were able to get me into the clinic so quickly. Dr. Kunihira's assistant was very professional in collecting information preparing me for Dr.'s examination, both explaining each step in great detail along with Dr. explaining possible treatments in this initial assessment appointment.

I returned to this office for a cleaning and to have a night guard delivered that I had been waiting 6 months for. When the night guard was fitted the first time three months ago, it fit so poorly it had to be remade. This time, it again did not fit properly and the dentist began to grind and grind on it to try to get it to fit. I mentioned that this should not need so much work to fit properly and should be made again. The dentist refused, saying that she was not going to "eat the cost" of a new one. I responded that if it was so important that I have the night guard I should not have had to wait for 6 months for it after having paid $500 for it. I asked for my payment to be refunded since I had not received what I paid for and it was not looking like I was going to receive it that day. The dentist responded saying, "that's not going to happen". At that point, I decided to end my appointment and leave the office. The dentist was rude, arrogant, without empathy and with no chairside manner whatsoever. No apologies or concern for me as the patient. I will be reporting this dentist to my insurance company and disputing the payment I made.
