First time going, and it was great didn’t have a weight. Tom was seated quickly and the server approached quickly and got our drinks and appetizers. Waited a few minutes and then they came back and got our order. I think we made it 15 minutes and our food was out nice, fresh, hot and very tasty. Highly recommend this place if you’re in the area and when you ask for a large cheese dip, it is very large. Worth it.

The atmosphere was very nice, clean, and comfortable. I really enjoyed the decor, including the restrooms. The service was also fairly good. Unfortunately, the food was less than average. The tortillas for the authentic tacos were awful, no taste at all and greasy. The fajitas were edible, but definitely would not order again and have had much better just about anywhere. The salsa tasted like jarred salsa, not fresh. The chips were good, light, and crispy. We stopped here due to the positive reviews, however our experience seemed to be much different than others.

The food is outstanding and full of flavor. There are a variety of drinks ???? ???? to choose from, and they are all done well and tasty. The ambiance is relaxed and aestheticslly pleasing, and the restaurant backs up to water with a lovely outdoor seating where you can watch the ducks. We've been here on several occasions over the years and had a couple of poor experiences with inattentive waitresses and one rude hostess. I don't care how good the food is. If the service stinks, I don't typically go back. However, my daughter loves this place, and we visited again last week after a long hiatus and had Jaspar for our server, who is ALWAYS amazing, and needless to say the whole experience was wonderful. If you enjoy Mexican, this place should definitely be on your radar.

Went to El Charrito last night and the new atmosphere is so appealing! The food just tastes so much better being in a nice clean atmosphere! Not to mention how friendly our server was. We were getting checked on frequently and we didn’t have to ask for refills on chips OR drinks! It was an amazing experience and I look forward to visiting every week :)
