Do not shop here. I used to love going to these stores, but not this one. The weird little guy charges white people more. He also implements a nameless tax worth $3.00. He won't give you all your change back either. Total was 29.48, gave him 40, gave me five and had an attitude when I asked about it. Probably scamming everyone nor just me.

I stopped in for tamales, which they didn't have, but discovered a bunch other delights.

Fantastic corner mercado with a great selection of Mexican cooking staples and meats. Helpful staff assist you in finding what special items you may be looking for. Grab a rompope ice cream on a hot day and you'll cool right off!

The meats here are delicious and they always have almost everything I need! They are friendly here and helpful. Can speak some English but mostly Spanish.
