Came here for some youth soccer games. Worst turf fields I have been to in my life. The underneath isn't nice little rubber balls or pellets, it's tiny little slivers of wood best I could make out. Anecdotally, many players were slipping and getting hurt; more injuries than normal. Gross restrooms. No inside garbage can forced girls to carry womanly products outside. Very hot inside as well. Tons of "no parking on grass" signs that were thoroughly ignored even though ample parking was available in the school parking lot.
The 2 disc golf courses are great. Eager's tee pads are too small though. But for kids they'd be great. You can tell it's been there a while. Maybe a little attention needs to be given to some trash buildup in the middle of the course.
Wonderful place for sports. We play soccer here and the ground is perfect. As you would expect, the artificial turf is a harder compared to grass. You will probably need no-studs shoes.
Beautiful recreational center with a surplus of soccer fields and disc golf courses. The Eager beaver is a short and technical course that is fun for beginner to intermediate players. The angry beaver may just do that and make you a little angry from the long tees. You will be challenged by the tight fairways and if you miss your lines you will be punished for it. But a great course.
Elon Park is one of those special parks you don't forget. It has nice public restrooms, plenty of space for outdoor sports and activities and is always full of people taking advantage of this. I mainly go for the disc golf and even that is amazing as well. Two courses, one for beginners or a casual round and the other for the people in for a serious challenge. My only complaint about this park is that sometimes it's TOO busy and parking can be hard to find.
