We’ve been coming to see Ben and Piano for over 20years. Came in the other day for a simple oil change to see the shop has changed owners. I have never had a simple oil change that end up costing me almost $200. First of all, without asking they decided to take my van for a test drive and a full car check up/inspection. Then, it took them over an hour and half to finish the oil change. Lastly, again without asking or any heads up they added a 2%credit card service charge to the bill. When I brought this to their attention they simply replied “yah that’s what we charge” not a simple care is given. I would be happy to pay in cash or use my debit card if I was given an advance notice before paying my bill; but in the end it was their nonchalant attitude that put the last nail in.

First time ever leaving a review for a business and I didn't even use their services! My vehichle got broken into the night before I was supposed to head back home to Prince George. I called around and was simply told no by every glass place around. I ended up finding a business to replace my window before I left but there were some things that seemed off about this business. When I called Kevin at Excellent auto service he walked me through what to look out for and assured me this other business seemed honest. Kevin also sent me a text with a fake quote to show the other company to use to haggle! Kevin also talked to me on the phone for nearly 5 minuites to make sure I had all the info I needed even though he wasn't able to get my business as I needed it done the next morning on a Saturday. Kevin then followed up the next week with me to make sure everything went well with the other company and I got fair service. I cannot thank Kevin enough for taking time out of his day to make sure I felt comfortable during a brief time of crisis. The customer service I recieved was by far the best I've ever had at any business or company. I can guarantee excellent auto service will give you the most honest, fair, and dedicated service around! Thanks again Kevin!

Took my van here for a routine service and asked well in advance for them to change any fluids needed or leaks to be fixed during the service and also to check for a slow leak on a tyre. Picked up the van, no work had been done other than the service and various leaks recommended repair so had to cancel my following Saturdays work to accommodate what had not been done. Took it back the following week and still they never finished the work, had to cancel the following Saturdays jobs (no mention of the tyre) drove my van that night up the steep and winding Highway 3 in the freezing cold got to my destination, a tiny village mid way. Next day went to drive home and a fuel line which had not been put back on properly flew off and covered my engine and the road with gas instantly disabling the van on the highway ( I later found out this was a huge explosion hazard ) by chance I was still close to the village and after a couple of hours trying to arrange a tow back to Vancouver a good samaritan came along and repaired my van. The following week I was back there to have an oil fitting replaced (and told there was nothing wrong with the tyre, all they done was pressurize it 6psi over what it was). The next day I was working in North Van (luckily parked in an underground as it was pouring rain outside or I would never had known this until my engine was completely wrecked) and noticed a huge pool of oil under the van. I had to almost completely fill the van with oil (20 minutes driving had lost almost all the oil) and drive it straight back to Excellent Auto. Yet again a major flaw with their workers failing to fit the new part properly(so much for their test drive or checking their work). Next day yet again I noticed oil dripping and took it back again which they blamed on the oil they didn't clean up from the last repair dripping onto the road (which I am sceptical of). So there you have it, there was very little wrong with my van when I took it there and over the course of a few weeks I was stranded on a high mountain pass with fuel pouring from my van, I almost completely ruined the engine by running it with a massive oil leak and it turns out my tire had 3 points of damage and I had to replace it. Not once did I hear from the owner for compensation or as much as an apology. THIS TRULY IS THEE NUMBER ONE CONTENDER FOR THE WORST MECHANIC IN ALL OF CANADA! Avoid if you value your life and your vehicle.

I recently got dual steering brake gas installed on Corolla 2021 for driving school and i am really satisfied with their service and quality of work, I highly recommend this place to everyone who is looking for great service.
