Love these guys. Been there a few times for lighter to heavier jobs, every time felt like I've been treated like a top customer even though I just came in off the street. Mo and the crew seem to always take care of me quickly, honestly, fairly, with good prices and excellent work! I'll be back there for sure when the time comes!
Hello. SAM IS UNREAL! Im a serious car owner with 4 vehicles, 2 foreign and 2 domestic with a good mix of SUV’s and Sedans. I have been all over Detroit and north including Farmington to find a competent, honest, personable, kind, trustworthy manager (Sam) - auto shop and group of mechanics. I also brought my vehicles to this location under previous management and name. While that service was good, in less than 6 months under new manager Sam, there was no comparison! Nothing compares to the way that it is now under the leadership of manager Sam. 5??s Sam is accessible by phone. He will talk to you. He is straightforward. He also does not price gouge. He tells the truth, and he will repair your car for the lease possible price. Sam has even given me repairs at little to no charge because of the volume that I bring. Keep in mind they have to earn their money, but he is beyond fair. And on a personal note, when I’ve had breakdowns, concerns and even needed a ride home, Sam responded and provided. I would look to trust no one else and I hope that the Total Car care organization reads this review. I can be called and I can cite examples. You can trust these guys 100%.
Sister took her car to shop and complained about a noise. Was told it needed a catalytic converter ($800.00) or they could add a flex pipe but couldn’t guarantee it will fix the problem (exhaust leak). I went to the shop to see if they are addressing the ‘real noise’. Moe and I took it for a test drive. He suggested he flush the engine real good and add an additive. After “flushing the engine and adding oil additive,” in route home the car made a pop noise and lost acceleration. Oil started spilling from somewhere in the engine compartment. Had to get the car towed (will no longer turn over). Left message on business Square receipt app. Moe called later that evening after reading comment I left and asked what happened… I told him… he said it was nothing they did (I knew that was coming). He offered to return $50 of the $175.00 I spent for what was done. (I was very frustrated at the time of the call). I appreciate the gesture, but not in the frame of mind to receive it. My experience: Moe is a nice guy. The service is not good. Having the car towed to another shop to find out what really happened. Will update this post when I do. - note- before you respond with the ‘ There’s no record of you being here at this shop… I have the receipt ???????????
