Slow staff, but fresh fish
Bismark war gut.
Very tasty food. Matjes rolls, fried fish and fries were very tasty and fresh. We enjoyed it very much. The rules at the entrance are clearly defined, but also perfectly fine in the small space (with regards to strollers and your own food & drink). The store was full, the queue was really long and yet we weren't treated unkindly. My daughter's extra request (fried fish with rolls but without salad and tartar sauce) wasn't a problem at all. The waitress certainly wasn't interested in small talk, but given the crowds, it wasn't to be expected otherwise. It was perfectly fine for us. The price was also okay for fresh fish - you can hardly get it cheaper anywhere these days!
Of course, the prices give you the feeling that you are being taken advantage of, as the competition is not particularly high. Prices tend to be higher than other places. BUT: If you're looking for a nice and cool "fish bowl" you've come to the right place. Rolls are freshly filled upon request and don't lie around forever. We had: herring, herring and an eel roll - they were all very tasty and the eel had good fillet on it, well smoked, fine in taste, firm bite Herring and herring were topped with onions and lettuce, the eel only with lettuce. The fried fish rolls also looked very good to me. Mulled wine was also delicious ???? Ambience: by the water, seating with radiant heaters Even if the price is higher, I would eat there again.
EDIT: This review was briefly reported as "violating Google's rules", probably by the operators themselves. After I checked it, Google found no wrongdoing on my part. The operators all seem to report bad reviews. But you can't get me down, there's still no ban :P Here is my review, completely approved by Google: Instead of offers, there are more bans here. It's almost worth an experience to look at this restaurant, because you rarely see so many prohibition symbols and passive aggressive signs. I don't know which foot the owners and employees of this company get up with every day, but it's definitely the wrong one every time. There were two of us, I had kibbles from the shop opposite and my companion wanted fries from the fishing boat Milan. When we wanted to sit down, we - like many others apparently - were rudely prevented from doing so because "foreign consumption" was forbidden and I had a product from another store. I would like to point out that only two seats were occupied, so the space argument no longer applies. So we walked 20 meters further, I ate my kibble and for the rest of my companion's fries we treated ourselves to one of the highly sought-after seats on the fishing boat Milan. And we were granted it - NOT. If looks from the employee could kill, then we would have been brutally murdered at least 50 times in the 3 minutes we sat there. But the atmosphere was tense anyway because of the thousands of prohibition signs. I was glad that I didn't have a child, a dog, an ice cream, or a hint of foreign stuff with me - God forbid what would have happened then. Joking aside - the fries were okay, but at €4.50 they were completely overpriced. The owners are aware of this, because they lovingly justify their prices with a bright red poster on the boat (see the photos I have attached here). I'm glad to have paid them the fax fees with the fries, the blessing of the day is over. Go here if you want to enjoy bitter owners and average food for above average prices. If not, just go to the competition. Third-party goods are the better goods ????????
