5 Mile Recreation Area is one of the many magical areas within Bidwell Park. It's perfect for a casual stroll with your canine companion or to simply sit and chill on one of the benches Creekside. Home of the iconic 5 Mile Bridge spanning over Chico Creek. There are a number of picnic benches on the lawn area to enjoy lunch or group gatherings. Public restrooms are also available. It's a beautiful place to visit this time of year. 2/9/23

Great place to get out and experience nature. Loved the fall leaves and big trees that have been around since the 1800s.

We love this park. Do be careful watching for wildlife, especially the rattlesnakes in the summer.

Glad to have our park back and clean.!! Had a great time with 2 little grandson's. The 3 year old first time do to covid & homeless issues.
