I was very disappointed with the food and service offered here. I went with my friends on a Saturday evening, there was only one server who was managing 7-8 tables at once. We figured the service would be slow but not only it was very slow but also our server made mistakes with our order. She even forgot to give us silverware while serving food and took a while to fetch it for us. Chicken Ala king was very salty and disappointing as my ex! The only thing I enjoyed was French onion soup. I highly recommend that!
If I could put zero stars I would after $150.00 order!!! 7 wings over $14.00 !!!!!!!!! Waited one hour for three orders of wings and two orders of scallops @ $15.00 each !!!! Plus ordered wingsauce to go pint not even the right hot sauce & inferno …. It was medium sauce ! Not what it use to be and never again and I have been coming here for years
A very cute restaurant with great food. Kathy was friendly and the place is an institution. You can't beat the view! Definitely worth stopping into during your visit.
We decided to try this place after driving by several times and always seeing the parking lot full. I am easy to please and this place was a bit off. The food and service was okay-my family was happy with their meals-mine wasn’t terrible either but it was a lopsided open faced sandwich. The feedback I would like to offer mainly is that the table/front room were slanted, which made the plastic topped table slanted and that made it tricky to keep things on the actual table. But what really got me was the bugs & dust that are in the fake flowers/ivy that are hung around the windows. Fort VIEW Inn suggests we’d want people to look out of the actual window but I would not recommend doing that if you want to maintain your appetite.
Food made with love! Small place, small staff; not a quick experience. Enjoy the time at the table with your friends/family and appreciate the hard working staff. Hands down the best wings you can find (on earth). And don’t miss the carrot cake.
