Not a great experience, I found the staff very cold, unfriendly and the food wasn't to my liking, frozen scampi and chips that were too dry. Food thrown on the table when served with little customer service.

My 5 year old and I happened across this pub after a long walk on a hot day. We were served quickly with a cold drink and shown where the small outside kids play area was much to my little ones delight. We ended up staying for food which we really enjoyed. The kids pizza looked like fresh home made dough which was lovely. I had a beef salad which was delicious! Beef was so soft and tender and the salad was refreshing and had a lovely variety of components. Food reasonably priced and friendly welcoming service. Relaxing and quiet atmosphere. Hope to return when in the area again.

We attended our 2 grandsons Christening party at this venue and it was amazing, the landlady is super friendly and the staff are fantastic, clean and tidy, large space for function use and also a good friendly public house when not used as a function room, the regulars were very polite and accommodating too, gave privacy to the function and respected it completely throughout, absolutely recommend 100%

Attended a funeral tea there. The catering was marvelous. Lots of choice with the sandwiches available and also accompanying assorted delicacies. The bar area was spacious with plenty of room between tables. Lots of room at the bar to order drinks and sufficient bar staff on duty to service customer's drinks requirements. The bar area was warm as well as well ventilated.

Good friendly pub. Food and drink was well presented and terrific value for money.
