I’ve always wondered about Francisco’s in Farmington. Finally decided to try it for lunch today. I got a enchilada plate with one red cheese and one chili verde. It was bland, pork was dry, red sauce needed help. Our chips were stale which was ok since the salsa was terrible too. They were also out of coke, Diet Coke and dr. Pepper. All in all would I go again, nope.
I had the enchilada combination plate it comes with a cheese enchilada, pork tamale and either a beef or chicken taco with rice and beans. It was busy at lunch time but the service was great, they got me in and I got my food fast. But the food was okay. It wasn't bad but it wasn't amazing. The chips are good. The salsa is just tomato paste. The rest of my meal was kind of just bland and not much flavor. The best part of my meal was my chicken taco. Very disappointed in the tamale and the cheese enchilada. Not sure if I'll be back here.
I got the relleno combo and my wife got the enchilada combo. Both were very good. The prices were average and the portion sizes were more than we could eat so we took a lot home. The restaurant is small and very clean. Our server was nice and the food came out fast.
Francisco is a fun name to say, but the food is not so good. Salsa super bland. We ordered cheese quesadilla, chicken quesadilla, bean and cheese burrito, Chile verde burrito (that was good), steak fajitas and mole enchiladas. Not much flavor on any of it.
I ordered the Carne asada tacos and enchiladas here. The tacos were very good and satisfying. Nice big portions. 3 tacos decent size taco on my order. The enchiladas were good as well. Mom and pops owned restaurant with very friendly service. First basket of chips and salsa were on the house. $1.50 for a second basket. I recommend and will come back!
