I have to say The food is over the top Their liver in onions is my favorite but today I had the schnitzel and mashed potatoes It was my lunch and dinner The service Diane was absolutely incredible!! We could not believe why they are not busier We need to support these local neighborhood establishments especially when they have such amazing food!!!

I went to see Tenfold here with my Daughter. Awesome Band, the people serving the drinks are really friendly ???? Didn't have anything to eat, but I bet the food is really good here,next time I go I'll be having their famous Roast beef dinner ???? Great Place ???? Had a good time!!

I had an appointment around suppertime in the north end and as I was coming home I remembered the galley pump, I hadn't eaten there in eons so I thought I would swing by and pick up a roast beef dinner, my parents when I was in my early teens took me to the running pump downtown where I had my first draft beer (at 14) and an awesome roast beef sandwich, later in life I would stop at the galley pump to cash checks say hi to Doug the owner of both places and indulge in a few drafts as well as the roast beef, kind of nice seeing a big side of beef sitting there while they carved off a huge amount of meat for your sandwich, tasted great!. Took about 25 minutes to get my order which included a greek salad which I declined, mashed potatoes and the roast beef all for the ridicously high price of 25 bucks plus tip plus tax, I wondered if I was at the cavalier steak house. The mashed were ok nothing to write home about, the roast beef was pretty dry and chewy I couldn't see where it came from but obviously not off a standing side freshly carved I got the feeling it had been around for a while Saving grace was the gravy which was tasty and a definite requirement to swallow the roast down. All in all pretty disappointing and an insane price not a place I would ever eat at again.

I've never failed to have a good time here. As of December 2023 there's a lit DJ on Thursdays. He looks like a viking and plays insane rock, techno, dance, metal mashups! So rad! Amazing scratch skills too. If you want to hear a tale he'd veteran of live dj'ing, this is what you want. Cheaper drinks, pool tables, live music, dj's and local heroes; what's not to love? I recommend you lean in and have a good time here.

Havent been in years was in the area thought Id check it out. Felt the menu was a bit more expensive then I remember but that is to be expected with the times and with items being home cooked! Pictured is the homemade mushroom soup - a little heavy with a butter taste for me but I appreciated that strong umami flavour and the juicy (and plentiful) pieces of mushrooms.
