I live in Bowmanville, but work nearby by to the shop. On three different occasions now I have had a situation with my vehicles over the years and Good Guys Auto has been fantastic. They are honest, hard working and provide fantastic customer service. Do not hesitate what so every to bring your vehicle in if your having any issues.

I booked the appointment to safety an historic car, I called asked if he would do it, asked twice if the appointment time suited him. When I got there I asked if he would adjust the emerg brake and suddenly he had no time, refused to take two split pins out, twist the cable adjusters and verify the brake. For my time and energy to go down there and meet with them, I was flatly refused. If you are too busy to see me in the first place, have the respect to tell me before I get there. Thanks so much, M

Master mechanics! I go to Billy the Dad! He always takes care of my car! Apparently he is famous! He used to maintain the cars for the original James Bond Movies in London England! He’s retired now but if you call in to ask for him, he will be happy to come in and assist you! I think they are looking for more actually! That place is so busy! I recommend scheduling the typical appointments like seasonal tire swaps winter to spring and fall to winter like 6 months in advance! The shop manager Jo can help you plan your annual visits! Better be safe than sorry! Especially if you need your boat winterized or restored to put in the water just after Easter! They call them “Good Guys,” because they come from the islands.. These iconic mechanics are never on island time! They are the busiest and fasted honest “Good Guys” in town! Good value and good work! All the kids have been working by master mechanic Billy from the young ages of 6 yrs old! From race car driving to master mechanics! Rich and Chris are the legacy that will need to continue! Can you tell? I’m the wife of one of them! I have to go to the Dad because they are always in demand lol! They say family is always first but In this case the clients are always first!
