Tucked away behind a bus stop between a Chase Bank is this little gem that serves super authentic bao, shui mai, porridge, HK style milk tea, and more. Best time to go is in the morning when everything is fresh--I recommend the steamed chicken bun (featured in photo) that's about the size of a grapefruit and stuffed with chicken meat, hard boiled egg, black mushroom, and Chinese sausage--best part is that and a small HK style milk tea will only set you back about $3
I order the steam salted fish and pork patty over rice. I think it tastes good for the price, only for $5.50
i paid cash in december, but received cash money in my own jeans pocket. this is lucky, how you can tell a good white flour bao is to follow what european white men buys. i went in here, never saw one of those non human people. ok, you know it is good when you see me buying from them.
I was randomly walked by and suddenly get hit by a strong sense of smell. The good kind of smell. Walked in. Looking at the wall with very sincere handwriting menu and fall in love right away. Ordered a Chinese tamale and drinking the HongKong milk tea. I have to say its 5 out of 5 stars 100 %
Yummy! Yummy! Yummy! Thank you for making this place. The guy who helped me this morning was super nice and very informative and fun to talk to. I am a first timer and bought a selection of sweet and savory. How fresh and delicious! The only recommendation is to add more tables and chairs for dine in or sidewalk dining. A new favorite for sure.
