The place is beautiful. There is a bacteria in the pond eating the skin on the fish and killing them. I don't know if they are aware of this or not. We went for the overnight fishing. We did not eat there because the kitchen was closed when we got there. Do read all the signs inside, they're cute!

The food was absolutely scrumptious with the right amount of flavor and spice. The restaurant was packed and there was quite a bit of a wait time to be seated but the atmosphere and various people that I met was very entertaining. The wait time plus the packed place just means that the meals are well worth the wait.

Don't go here unless your okay with a fishing pond and catfish tournament going on in the front yard. Go here if you love granny's cooking, all you can eat buffet, eating off paper plates, a "gift shop" with fishing lures and rods, and all the neighbors over for dinner. We live in the next county and try to get over a least once a month. Great pie. Oh,band yes, you can order off a menu, I recommend the cat fish basket, get a lunch meat sandwich, and but sliced lunch meat to take home that's much cheaper than that stuff at Kroger's. I think I'm trying to say it's an experience! Please give it a try.
