Great place to just pull off Highway 97 at the peak of the Summerland hill and savor some true Artisnal treats. Coffee drinks are a house blend from Lone Tree local roasters, brewed on a machine that is well dialed in. Treats range from cookies through Paninis, with plenty of options for bake at home too. This is a menu that has evolved over the years, with a loyal local following. Two standouts from our visit are the Dutch Oven baked breads, and the fresh cinnamon buns. The buns have a delightful baked sugar crunch that really sets them apart. The breads, however, are worth the drive all on their own. The texture is phenomenal, and the crust is exquisite. Not to be missed. Post Script: pick up a loaf of the Dutch Oven white, sliced, a be prepared to make the best toast you will ever experience. Phenomenal !!!
Overhyped and overrated. Fruits are expensive. Fruit pops (ice cream bars) are expensive at $5.50 each. Tried their bumble berry pie and brownie which was highly recommended by other reviewers but found them to be ok, nothing exceptional. Both were pretty average. Vanilla ice cream served with brownie is from Chapman's, not sure why when they have foothills? Chapman's ice creams are not healthy at all. They have a separate fruit and bakery section. They sell foothills ice cream. They didnt even have 1 out of 6 flavors we asked. Service however was good, not bad. We stopped on our way to Penticton. Overall it wasn't worth the visit. Just an average fruit stand.
We loved this place so much that we had breakfast here everyday during our trip! The atmosphere is sooo lovely! We got delicious peaches and jams to take home from the fruit stand. The bakery/cafe had amazing food and drinks and really hit the spot. The outdoor seating so so relaxing on a nice sunny day, and gave the best vibes. If I’m ever in the area I will be coming back and would recommend anyone visiting the area to stop by here for sure.
Nice set up, yet grossly overpriced and not worth it. Bought a pie for family dinner.. it was dry, too sweet and we threw it out. Rather by a cheap pie from Wallyworld. Produce prices too high (unless bumper crop). I go to Oliver for fair prices
This place was exactly what we’d been hoping for when we walked in. Great tasting fresh fruit at a great price, and delicious sandwiches for lunch. Staff were super friendly and helpful. We’ll have to come back for some pie or cinnamon buns; they looked fantastic.
