We were planning on going to Pinti or Guyer Field but this park has public use grills so we went here instead. The playground itself and the layout of the park is awesome but unfortunately a large group of people with large dogs off leash running loose made for a less than stellar visit. I would definitely go back on a day/time when it's empty though I'm sure if enjoy our visit more that way
Brought my cub scout den here for a nice winter hike, then we stopped and ate lunch. Always nice views as you walk along the canal and lots of things to teach kids. We saw animal foot prints and talked about why still water freezes and moving water does not. Will be going there again in the summer for even more third to see.
It's one of my favorite places to go. It's got everything except it Only needs a merry go round and the pool back to being open!! Perfect place for kids and across muck rd, is a fishing area!! Love it!!!
A great park to take kids to! I wish the city would reopen the pool though
Has a basketball court, two play areas, a seasonal pool, pavilion that can also be reserved, an enclosed tennis court, large green areas, and a baseball field at the other end. Parking for the park is separate from the baseball area.
