don't know what to say about this place held a birthday party here tonight for my daughters 14th half way in the land landy came over and told us underage were drinking alcohol outside so we immediately went to see and deal with it. 90 seconds later she closed the party down and and changed her mind and said it was energy drinks from the shop! I get this was a problem but a mere 90 seconds to deal with it to then be met with nothing but shouting. we packed up and asked for our damage deposit back. at this point she reused point blank. after a hours stand of she finally realised she had lost and refunded in full. horrible place to visit all nice while she has your money. I'd avoid like the paluge. not sure if she owns the pub or just manages it but a call to the brewery for a official complaints will be done first thing Monday. I ve done some research this morning and there is no law on energy drink sales age limits. so the landlady has no clue and ruined the party needlessly.

Went to the Hare and Hounds for a celebration of life. Excellent buffet all top quality food. Excellent service from the bar staff. I absolutely ???? percent recommend this place for a private venue.

What a grate little place. Fantastic atmosphere grate staff. However might need to make the sign too the function room a little bigger then the disabled toilet sign. Saves alot of condition.

A nice friendly pub for a relaxing drink, any time of day.

Great staff, decent pint and some of the best grouted window sills in Mansfield
