The worst hotel I have ever stayed at. Room wreaked heavily of dust and cigarette smoke. Was on second floor there was no screens or guard on the windows. There were no smoke or carbon dioxide detectors!! The blanket had 5 burns holes along with many stains. The walls looked beat up, dirty and scraped up all over. I dont know why, but there were holes in the ceiling!! Shared bathroom was dirty, with pee all over. Tv didnt work hardly at all. No knobs on doors of dresser and in room sink cabinet. Peep hole was unsafely covered up. I felt very unsafe and do not recommend staying here.
most reviews I can not agree, yes it is a simple accommodation, but the most important it is clean and the environment is fine. But of course it is not for people who are used to four stars and also not for families with children who are looking for more peace and quiet. Personally, I felt comfortable and I slept well.
My wife and I recently stayed at this hotel and while it may seem a little rough, the experience we had went by very smoothly. It can get a little loud during the evenings but that can be resolved with earplugs. The location itself is great walking distance but can be a little scary with the drug users around (as long as you keep to yourself and don't bother them they won't bother you). Very budget friendly but be prepared to share a communal shower and bathroom
Well, I was a little surprised with how clean my room was. The shared bathroom was spotless. I will stay here again.
Truly not a safe place to stay. And I am a big city girl, used to navigating sketchy situations. The communal bathroom was unheated and so was unusable in the winter for showering. No discernable access to air conditioning or heating in my room. There was a security guard posted outside on the street, during the daytime (with good reason), as there were so many folks gathering who had no place to go.
