It has been a few years since I’ve been back at He He. Decided we wanted some bbq meats with rice that was along the way home. Ordered the bbq duck(drumstick portion), roast pork on rice. It comes with some cabbage and soup. As a side dish ordered a lb of soya sauce chicken wings. The duck was quite tasty just a touch on the salty side. The roast pork was very good. Both meats had the proper taste profile. Now the chicken wings were a disappointment taste was not there and it could have been a day old. But I’ve come back a few times for the duck and roast pork. The rice though is a hit and miss, one time it was absolutely soggy and I couldn’t eat it. Now if I had the time I’d pickup the bbq meats I like and cook rice at home, but if you are on the go then get the box combo be aware price point is on the higher side. Overall I do recommend the bbq duck and roast pork.

This place is a step up from your typical Chinese supermarket BBQ. The husband and wife owners were friendly and the place was clean, unlike other establishments as mentioned in my other posts. I came in at 2pm and saw an impressive display, so I ordered half a duck and 1 lb of roast pork. The duck was very succulent and juicy - don't let the half empty box in the picture fool you, I had devoured the best parts when I got home LOL. The roast pork that I had was very good, the skin was nice and crispy, and it had a nice layer of fat - you have to specify whether you want lean or medium fat and I ordered the latter. Most places when you ask for 1 lb they will always give you more as they have prefer to cut a whole piece from the pig rather than half a piece. The piece they cut came to 1.7lbs, you can always refuse it or ask them to make the piece smaller, I accepted it because the owner was honest with me. Its one of the better Chinese BBQs in North York/Agincourt area. I would give it 4.5 stars, its not quite 5 stars, so 4 stars it is.

My favorite place for roast duck. Bought a whole roast duck and BBQ pork for dinner. The roast duck was as tasty as usual, the meat was tender and juicy. For the bbq pork I specifically asked for lean meat to feel a bit healthier LOL. Usually I heat up the food to taste even better. The owner family there was very friendly.

I was in the area and noticed some beautiful bbq pork and duck hanging by the window and decided to order take out. I’ve decided to order the BBQ pork on rice and it’s absolutely delicious, it’s so juicy and tender. The meal came with bbq pork, rice, cabbage and a soup. There was way more rice than shown in the picture it just didn’t all fit in my plate, it was around $13.5 with taxes it’s an amazing price for such a big portion of food.

A hidden gem located in North York area. Food: 5 out of 5, amazing BBQ pork. That's why this shop have been here for quite sometime. Service: 4 out of 5. They taking care of your crave. Of course it's just a small shop, friendly service though. It's close to self-serve, it's the cashier and the sifu being nice. Ambience: 2.5 out of. Not much of ambience. It's their food make up the lost points. Price: 3 out of 5. I am willing to pay for their quality. It's not cheap comparing to other BBQ shops. If it isn't their food quality. I wouldn't pay for it. Overall 4 out of 5: It's about right. As you can tell I have emphasized their BBQ pork quality. It is so good that compensates everything.
