This is a great local place. The food is really good. It's cooked to order. The steak is very tender. The seasoning on it are awesome. The double cheese burger is big and very good. It comes with everything you want on it. The country fried steak. Is battered just right. It has a perfect taste. Even the chicken tenders are really good. If you are close you need to go!

Located just south of Jamestown Tennessee, Hometown Cafe' is your classic small town diner/cafe. Service was speedy, friendly and professional. Food is really, really good! Breaded tenderloin was a nice surprise in the south. Fried bologna was good, and the fried green tomatoes were excellent. If you like comfort food in a clean, comfortable atmosphere, you'll like this place!

Very nice place. Wait staff was helpful and attentive. The food was plentiful. All of us got to-go boxes to take home part of our meal. The food was tasty diner food. The booths were wooden and comfortable but the wood was hard to sit on for very long. There are a few rooms that would make it nice for larger groups. The parking lot is a bit cramped.

Biscuits!! Hands down the fluffiest biscuits! Perfect balance of ingredients. You'd be surprised how people can screw up biscuits. The sausage is good, as is the gravy. Not gelatinous, and not overly seasoned. It allows you to taste the other breakfast items. The eggs were slightly overcooked, so express very easy if you areca runny egg type. Overall, we had a very pleasant breakfast with fantastic, friendly service. Very attentive. We will come back to try out lunch and dinner another time. Worth the 35 minute drive to get here.

This review is for the new location in Jamestown. Love this place, and the food is amazing. Breaded tenderloin is great. I am so happy Hometown Cafe is now in Jamestown.
