We often visit on a Sunday lunchtime for the Carvery. The food is a very good standard and all the staff do their utmost to help. As a pub, it provides a great atmosphere and the landlord is very friendly.

Here for Sunday roast carvery, had enormous joint of beef and huge turkey breast, had very generous helping of both and loaded my plate with all the trimmings. Both meats were mouthwatering, great atmosphere. Great to see comfortable armchairs and sofas in front of a real log burner stove, wonderful

Lad running bar lent me 4 quid, bless him. Had my wallet nicked at co-op. Came back 13 days later to repay him. He refused. I bought him a pint instead.

Sunday carvery meats of Beef and turkey were exceptional the best meats you will find anywhere, the vegetables were well cooked and tasty. Great dessert options. We have decided to visit again we are in the region.

Visited this pub today and very impressed. Landlord and team very helpful and accommodating. Dog friendly. The best Sunday dinner I've eaten in years with fabulous local meat cooked to perfection and vegetables well seasoned. Nothing too much trouble. Well done all see you soon.
