Amazing food and wonderful atmosphere/experience that fills your heart as well as your stomach. Mr Iskender (owner and namesake) is a talented chef, whose delicious dishes are testament to his philosophy that the best taste comes from attention to details. Highly recommend the Iskender platter and adena kebab plate - no photos because they disappeared almost immediately! If you dine-in, the perfect finish to the meal is baklava (probably the best I've ever tasted), served with complementary Turkish tea. Bottom line - if Iskender suggests something, try it!

The best beef shawarma in Ottawa! It was so deliciously moist that it melted in my mouth! ???? Small mixed shawarma wrap (4.8/5): -had great flavor! - I would go for a large next time -The complimentary tea was a nice touch, thank you!

Great service. I enjoyed my meal but I was with someone from Turkey and she wasn't as impressed tbh. It was freezing inside the restaurant, the heat must be off to save money, not sure. The bathroom was so cold and had no toilet paper.

Good customer service is so hard to find these days, but at Iskender I was greeted warmly and served a hot cup of Turkish tea and baklava while I waited as they prepared my to-go order.

Amazing food. Amazing friendly service. The chef has over 25 years of cooking on a cruise ship, multiple restaurants. A must go
